Facilities
We are thrilled to announce our application for Federal funding has been approved! We look forward watching the construction of a new library and four new classrooms. The art room is also going to receive a facelift during 2009. Building works will commence shortly. (For more information see our new tab 'Building Projects' which is updated regularly)
Our facilities and programs include - A LIBRARY, A GYMNASIUM, AN ART ROOM, A PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE, COMPUTERS IN ALL CLASSROOMS, SPECIALIST MUSIC TUITION.
Library
A large bright library with a wide range of books and resources managed by our library technician Heather. Our fiction books are separated into picture-story books, junior fiction and general fiction. Non-fiction books cover all subject areas and a reference section is available for use in the library. The library is also home to a bank of computers that can also be used for presentation and research purposes.Gymnasium
This is used by students in their Physical Education classes. A gym club uses the facility out of school hours. The gym is also used for special functions, such as the whole-school disco and often for Friday assemblies.

Art Room
We have a well equipped art room with a kiln. Students spend one hour each week in the artroom with our specialist art teacher. They explore and experiment with many different media as they create art works on a variety of themes.

Information and Communication Technology
Computers for student access at a ratio of 1 computer for every 4 students. All are fully networked, have internet access and are connected to the library catalogue. These computers are in all classrooms and the library and are used by students as part of their everyday life to achieve their learning outcomes. We have wireless netbooks and laptops available to be used in classes as required and a bank of 17 computers in the library.
The school has interactive technology in all classrooms and the library.

Instrumental Specialists
Students are able to learn violin, keyboard and guitar at school. Specialist music tutors attend our school each week to offer their services to students who wish to take advantage of these extra-curricula programs.

Performing Arts Centre
The school is lucky to have a performing arts centre (PAC). All classes attend music classes once a week with the music specialist teacher. Individual and small group music tuition also takes place in the smaller rooms inside the PAC.
In fine weather, the PAC is the home to school assembiles and doubles as a performance space for events like the school fair, the carols night and Year 6 graduation. It is also home to our Out of School Hours Care program.
